Football Star Welsh Athlete Ramsey Ups Reward for Missing Pet in Mexico to $Twenty Thousand Dollars
Welsh athlete Ramsey has boosted the reward for leads concerning the lost canine Halo to £15,000.
The former Arsenal and Cardiff player, who currently plays for the Mexican club Pumas in the capital, stated that Halo was last seen in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato region.
The beagle, who vanished on October 9th, was wearing a dog tracker collar, and the footballer published a Google maps location of the spot she vanished from.
"Any sort of updates regarding our pet Halo kindly get in touch with us. Big reward for locating her. We are all hoping she's ok and comes home with us soon," Ramsey shared on Instagram.
Earlier Offer and Heartfelt Appeals
The footballer first announced that Halo had gone missing two weeks ago and has subsequently posted numerous pictures of the adored canine on his social media account.
A £7,500 bounty was originally offered, but with absence of information on the dog's status after a week, Ramsey and his loved ones raised the sum.
"We just want our girl home," he expressed in an additional appeal on his online platforms after the 10-year-old dog was lost.
The latest image upload is a black and white photo of Halo sleeping, her head lying in the curve of Ramsey's elbow, with the description: "What I'd do to cuddle you one last time sweet Halo."
Family's Anxieties and Context
Ramsey has also posted a message from his spouse Mrs. Ramsey on social media mentioning they have a few "important queries" surrounding the disappearance and worry the household "may never get explanations".
"To this day we have not located Halo. I don't think we will ever," the spouse's post stated.
The Welsh captain signed with Mexican premier club Club Universidad Nacional earlier this year and had his debut in the Mexican league in August.
Originally from Caerphilly footballer is the initial prominent British Isles player to play in the Liga MX.
